About Us

Carolina Colortones, located just in between Asheville and Hendersonville North Carolina (Google Map), is the region's first and only machine finisher of wood and cement siding. Founded as a part of Black Mountain Lumber Company in 1979, owners Chuck and Helen Campbell recognized the need for the quality and convenience that machine finished material provides builders and homeowners.

The Campbell's believed in the concept so much that in 1990, the couple sold Black Mountain Lumber to devote their full attention to machine finishing. Over the last decade, Colortones has been serving the eight state area surrounding Western North Carolina.
