new bluestain pine T&G perfect for cabin life in the appalachian mountains
Harvested from dead wood forests, Bluestain Pine from Carolina Colortones provides color varia
tion not found in any other wood or finish. It features blue-gray streaks that vary in amount and hue from board to board. Available in 16-foot lengths, it makes installation go quick. Considered a lower grade product due to the stain, pricing is very reasonable.
We feature our clear, no V.O.C. Durathane interior/exterior finish for our Bluestain for the lowest environmental impact. We can also stain to color.

white pine mountain siding - the signature exterior for the appalachian look
Little has changed in the use of Eastern White Pine Mountain Siding over the past 200 years. Cut straight from pine logs, Mountain Siding maintains it's curves and bark of the tree's exterior. This results in a hefty product that provides variation in exposure. Our product features a full-
inch thick product which is more demensionally stable than competitor's thinner products. With expsoure widths over a foot, the thicker material is less likely to cup than thinner options.
The rough nature of Mountain Siding allows it to absorb a larger amount of stain than processed products in either water-based or oil based products. We feature our Weathered Pine water-based Sherwin Williams semi-transparent stain which gives the pine an aged-gray look with the protection of fresh stain.
