Finishes & Woods

Colortones Interiors features Sherwin Williams "Wood Classics" stains. Choose from 50 natural colors or go with a quality primer for painting. A clear, no V.O.C. urethane is also available. All six sides are finished, a key in the battle against mold and mildew.

The Process

The prefinished system used by Colortones Interiors cannot be duplicated and results in the highest quality finish. Your material's first run receives the stain or a sand and sealer coat to raise grain knocked down in the milling process. Then it is run through a de-nibbing brush machine, which takes off the raised grain. The your wood receives its coats of stain, polyurethane or water-based urathane resulting in a furniture grade finish. Calibrated machines ensure an even finish on every board.
