CAROLINA DECKING truly makes Carolina Colortones a one-stop-shop for all your exterior needs. Like our siding products, our decking and accessories are offered for their quality and longevity. We have products for every style and budget.

IPE DECKING is one of the rare natural products that can outlast its manufactured composite competitiors. Grown in the South American forests (a.k.a. Ironwood) and sustainably harvested, Ipe is an extremely dense wood that is impervious to moisture, rot and even fire.
Ipe is dense and can easily span wider on joists than pine, cedar or redwood decking. The most often used di
mension is a 5/4 x 6 with a groove on the sides for hidden fastening (Eb-Ty System) which gives a premire look. Ipe coloring is distinquished with dark browns and reds. The Ipe will turn silver over time and although it does not require any finishing, it's color can be brought back with tongue oil stains.
Carolina Decking has been the number one choice for builders and homeowner's source for quality Ipe products at competitive prices. Our multiple sources give us a wide range of product styles and choices. We can access specialty Ipe products like beams, custom width decking, mouldings and more. We never compromise quality!

LARCH DECKING has many of the same attributes as Ipe. It too is a dense wood and does not require finishing for stability. It is a great choice for those wanting higher quality than pine and cedar, but cannot afford the cost of Ipe decking.

Larch is imported from Eastern Europe and is currently certified by the FSC (Forest Steward Council). Unlike Cedar and Pine, Larch is logged from the old growth forests of Siberia.
Larch is naturally light in color, like pine. It stains really well (can be prefinished) and is some of the straightest wood available. Straight boards and no endsplits reduces waste to almost nothing. The Larch comes 5/4 x 6 in 13-foot lengths. Don't foreget your 2 x 4, 2 x 6 and 4 x 4 components! Deckorators go great with Larch decking.
With hundreds of composite decking products out there, it is hard to know which to consider. EVERGRAIN COMPOSITE DECKING has been Carolina Decking's choice for the last four years. Not only are there hundreds of composite deck companies out there, but they change their product composition annually. Evergrain has been consistent in composition, durability, wear and price since we first offered it. We offered it because quality builders who do their homework requested it.
Evergrain has four colors (Weathered Wood, Cedar, Redwood and Grey) in desirable lengths. Use Evergrain components or mix and match with cedar, Deckorators, Ipe and more! Color screws are available that match the Evergrain Colors.
